Marshall Electronics became a division of Marshall Elevator Company in 1963. The division was purchased from The Union Switch and Signal Company® to manufacture controllers for specialized man lifts that serve the rapidly changing television tower industry.
As the original designer and manufacture of the solid state carrier phone, Marshall in the early 1970's, became the first company to design and market a complete solid state unitized electric alarm.
Product lines at Marshall Electronics would later expand to include a flexible solid state communication system that has become known today as simply; MACALL.
Now in our 185th year of operation, Marshall Elevator is considered the oldest family owned and operated company in Western Pennsylvania. Corporate divisions include; Marshall Electronics, Marshall Tower and Marshall Accessibility, making Marshall, the premier name in vertical access solutions since 1818.
